From History to Conversation to Transformation: A Parish-Wide Forum on Race, Belonging, and Our Shared Future

Following the release of Unveiling Our Truth: A Racial History of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church this past February, the Racial Justice Task Force took a groundbreaking bold step. The task force conducted two rounds of focus groups – one for people of color and the other for the wider congregation – asking hard questions, listening deeply, and facing truths about our parish’s racial past, present, and future.

We will come together as a parish family to:

• Explore the purpose and process behind this vital research
• Engage with key findings – including challenges, celebrations, and emerging priorities
• Participate in a meaning-making conversation that will guide our path forward to becoming a beloved church community.
