Film Screening and Discussion of “The Philadelphia Eleven”

Open to the public, free admission. All are invited to this screening of The Philadelphia Eleven. This documentary film tells the story of the eleven women whose ordination as priests in 1974 at the Church of the Advocate in Philadelphia began the movement that finally removed gender barriers to priesthood in the Episcopal Church fifty years ago. This event is open to the public, and the film will be in English with Spanish subtitles. Please spread the word widely. Organized by the Racial Justice Committee.
