Evening Prayer, Lectio Divina, and Compline (In person)

Beginning the week after Ash Wednesday, we’ll gather on Thursday evenings in the Parish Hall and Nave for five weeks of shared prayer, Scripture reflection, and fellowship.
Each evening will hold a gentle rhythm of quiet, listening, and community—grounding our Lenten journey in God’s presence rather than information alone.
Our weekly flow:
6:30–7:00 p.m. — Optional bring-your-own supper and fellowship
7:00–7:20 p.m. — Evening Prayer
7:20–7:50 p.m. — Lectio Divina on the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel
7:50–8:00 p.m. — Compline
You’re welcome to bring your own meal, and if folks feel moved to share food, that will be warmly received (but no pressure).
Come every week or drop in when you’re able. No prior experience with these prayer practices is needed—just a desire to slow down and listen for the Spirit.
