2025 Annual Rummage Sale

Do you love thrifting? Our annual Rummage Sale is an opportunity to shop for clothing, jewelry, and housewares at reduced pricing, with proceeds supporting the mission of St. Margaret’s.

How You Can Support?

Donate Your Gently Used Items (jewelry, clothing, and toys/games)

We accept: women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing/shoes; toys and games; jewelry and decorative items; and non-electric housewares. We cannot accept books, furniture, electronics, sporting goods, luggage, or anything with a plug. Donation drop-off times are M-F 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and Sundays following worship. Buzz at the kitchen entrance, underneath “The Episcopal Church Welcomes You” sign, in the middle of the alley. We will accept donations through October 10. Please do not leave donations outside. If this door is inaccessible due to construction work in the alley, please ring at the ramp entrance on Bancroft Place.

Volunteer Your Time

Volunteers make our annual thrift sale a success! Please consider donating a few hours of your time starting Saturday October 11. We need helpers to retrieve items from storage, sort clothing, housewares, and children’s toys, assemble shelves and lighting, and much more. Click here to sign up. We are especially in need of high school and college volunteers, so please share this signup form widely! If you have connections to area schools and universities, can help recruit, or have any other questions, please contact co-chairs Giselle Pole and Sally Russ by emailing rummagesale@stmargaretsdc.org.
