Fall Inquirers’ Class: Being With the Church

Curious about the Episcopal Church? Wondering about confirmation or reception? Just looking to grow in your spiritual life with others? Join us this fall for our Inquirers’ Class, a welcoming seven-week journey into the life, practice, and mission of the Episcopal Church.

This year’s series will feature the pilot offering of Being With the Church—a new program from the creators of our popular Being With course. Each week will explore foundational themes of Christian life including prayer, ministry, discipleship, mission, Jesus, Baptism, and worship. The class is open to all: newcomers, spiritual seekers, long-time members seeking renewal, and especially those who have participated in Being With.

Participation in the class also prepares those who wish to be confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church. The diocesan confirmation service will take place at Washington National Cathedral on Saturday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m., and newly confirmed and received members will be joyfully recognized in worship on St. Margaret’s Day, November 16.
