DESCRIPTION:About the Rummage Sale\nDo you love thrifting? Our annual Rummage Sale is an opportunity to shop for clothing\, jewelry\, and housewares at reduced pricing\, with proceeds supporting the mission of St. Margaret’s. \nVolunteer during the Rummage Sale\nAre you looking to meet new people while volunteering for a worthwhile cause?  It takes many hands to operate our Rummage Sale on the big day\, including set-up and clean-up! We especially need volunteers the week leading up to the sale (October 21-25)\, to help with unpacking\, sorting and displaying donated items throughout the day and evening. Sign up to volunteer. If you have questions\, please send an email. \nDonate Items to the Rummage Sale \nThere is no sale without donated items! Donations will be accepted at the Bancroft Place entrance through Saturday October 19\, at the days and times listed below. \nMonday-Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. \nSaturday: 10:30a.m. – 1:00 p.m. \nSundays from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. \nOnly the following items will be accepted as donations: women’s\, men’s\, and children’s clothing/shoes/bags; children’s clothes\, toys\, and games; jewelry; housewares; decorative items; and non-electric housewares. We will not accept furniture\, electronics\, sporting goods\, luggage\, or anything with a plug.

We cannot accept books\, furniture\, electronics\, sporting goods\, luggage\, or anything with a plug. Donation drop-off times are M-F 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.\, and Sundays following worship. Buzz at the kitchen entrance\, underneath “The Episcopal Church Welcomes You” sign\, in the middle of the alley. We will accept donations through October 10. Please do not leave donations outside. If this door is inaccessible due to construction work in the alley\, please ring at the ramp entrance on Bancroft Place. \nVolunteer Your Time \nVolunteers make our annual thrift sale a success! Please consider donating a few hours of your time starting Saturday October 11. We need helpers to retrieve items from storage\, sort clothing\, housewares\, and children’s toys\, assemble shelves and lighting\, and much more. Click here to sign up. This documentary film tells the story of the eleven women whose ordination as priests in 1974 at the Church of the Advocate in Philadelphia began the movement that finally removed gender barriers to priesthood in the Episcopal Church fifty years ago.
