SUMMARY:A Christian Response to Political Polarization
DESCRIPTION:This two-hour learning activity is for Christians who are concerned about the increasingly angry and hostile political climate they see around them and who would like guidance on how to respond. During the workshop\, we will discuss how Biblical teachings are relevant to toxic political polarization and explore ways to apply those teachings to a variety of situations.  Overall\, the emphasis of our time together is on elevating our faith above politics so that we approach the problem of polarization as Christians and not as supporters of a particular political perspective. The workshop is sponsored by Braver Angels\, a non-partisan national organization focused on helping to bridge the political divide in our country. More information about Braver Angels can be found here. Email the Rev. Diana Gustafson with questions. Please click here to register and make a $15.00 payment toward lunch.
